Three exciting days and nights of activities, complete with carnival, 4-H and FFA competitions, live music, pet show, dances. special concerts, barrel racing. a gymkhana competition,a horse show, exhibits, vendors, a wonderful farmers market, and much, much more!  Be sure to visit us at our booth!

New Trail Ride Adventure

Join us for our 10th annual trail ride benefit. Enjoy breakfast, an approximately 3-4 hour long trail ride exploring the rarely seen western foothills of the Whetstone Mountains on the historic Empire Ranch, followed by a late lunch by Bailey’s BBQ Bistro and Cafe. Registration fee also includes a commemorative t-shirt.

Ride your horse or rental horses will be available from All Around Trail Horses with advanced paid reservation.  Registration and payment deadline is Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

*Dry camping available Friday night at no cost.

Approximate Schedule:    

8-9 a.m.       Check-In and Breakfast    

9-1ish          Ride 

 1ish             Lunch and Relax

Ride Fee if you have your OWN horse                                                        $75

 - Includes breakfast, lunch, t-shirt and ride

Ride Fee if you RENT a horse                                                                          $155

 - Includes breakfast, lunch, t-shirt, rental horse, and ride

 Ghost Riders

Those who accompany riders and enjoy the day in camp w/ breakfast and lunch but don't ride themselves.  Ghost riders may want to hike in or drive through the Empire Ranch.                                                                          

 - Includes breakfast and lunch (no ride or t-shirt)                           $20

Additional T-shirts (all riders receive one)                                                    $15 each

Join us for our annual open house at the Single Star Ranch, home of Horse'n Around Rescue to learn about our mission, meet our wonderful rescue horses and enjoy the ranch!

You will have the opportunity to meet horses, mules, and even give our mini ambassadors, Buster and Prince, a kiss in our kissing booth. 


  • Brushing, hugging and visiting with the horses

  • Meet Painted Beauty, the horse that recently received life saving surgery to remove eye cancer

  • Kids can try out their roping skills

It's a time for animal welfare organizations in Cochise county to come together as one group to celebrate animals.  The Greater Sierra Vista Kennel Club will be hosting an AKC-sanctioned breed obedience and rally match.  Please bring donations and come enjoy adoptions, educational booths, horse-drawn wagon rides, alpacas, reptiles, a petting zoo, demos, raffles, food trucks, and much more!
